Split a group trip budget without confusing fares and shares
Separate each traveler's actual booking costs from shared expenses, deposits, reimbursements, and refunds in a hotel or cruise group plan.
Turn a nightly accommodation quote into a whole-party trip budget.
Enter the accommodation amount per room per night, including mandatory lodging fees already shown in that amount. Enter lodging taxes for the entire stay separately. If your quote already includes taxes, set the tax field to zero; do not add them again. Daily spending covers the whole party, not each person. Other trip costs are added once.
The formula is nights × rooms × nightly amount + total taxes + nights × daily party spending + other trip costs. An illustrative five-night trip with one room at $220, $150 in taxes, $120 daily spending, and $200 other costs totals $2,050. Divided between two travelers, that is $1,025 each. The whole-party nightly equivalent is $410. These are planning inputs, not prices available to book.
The calculator does not determine local taxes, account for changing nightly rates, or check occupancy. For varying room rates, use the average before separately entered tax. Confirm the actual invoice and payment schedule before paying.
