Frequently asked questions
Is this a live hotel or cruise search engine?
No. Berth & Board is an independent planning resource. Enter your own current quotes in the calculators; we do not check availability or sell reservations.
Can I compare a room rate with a cruise fare directly?
First match travelers and nights. A room quote may cover multiple people, while a cruise quote may be per passenger. Add excluded spending and travel before comparing totals.
Are the calculator defaults current prices?
No. Every default and worked dollar amount is illustrative. Replace them with your own quote and planned expenses.
Does the cheapest total identify the best trip?
It only identifies the lower budget under your inputs. Check accommodation, itinerary, meal coverage, cancellation terms, and access needs separately.
Should I add every fee I see to the calculator?
Add only charges excluded from the amount you entered. For example, a mandatory fee already in a hotel nightly amount should not be added a second time.
Can this site handle a booking problem?
We do not hold bookings or process refunds. Start with the seller and supplier shown on your confirmation; our safeguards guides identify official resources for specific issues.
Independent by design
We do not sell bookings, fetch live prices, or take booking commissions. Worked amounts are illustrative. Guides link to official resources; confirm your own fare and conditions with the seller.
